didnt know buy tripod so hard sia, if u said no point buying a bigger ballhead coz tripod can hold 10kg only, thats ya cup of tea, hmmm, let me see, my buddy gitzo is rated at 8kg, and yet i seem him mounted a pro body, with even longer zoom than weights a ton, his ball head max load is 30 kg, hmmmm... i dont see the prob lei getting a bigger ballhead,

kit lens (18-105) = about 0.3kg
SB600 w 4 batteries = about 0.4-0.5kg

I think chao-chao give 2.5kg la... even mount a 14-24/2.8, so total is 4kg...
still FAR below the rated weight anyway.

im a lil curious, G20 max load is 20kg, but the T1004/T1204 max load is 10kg, so the tripod also cannot support up to so much right?

juz to add
G20 can hold 20kg then when u put it to an angle, usually u would wan to divide by 2 times so become 10kg weight.
ur tripod can hold 10kg which is sufficient for most system.
so both can match ea other. cheers

dude, i get what u mean, trust me even the bigger better branded video tripod legs rated to 25kg also take a tumble, but tripods are a few things that will give way slowly, heck there is preventive measures to avoid this unwanted situation...

(sorry if im being an a** today, stuffs happen that has make to reschedule my whole day today.... freak it)

hahaha we can all TCSS whilst shooting. Estimate makan about 10 mins after sun goes down.
If the prices there are really expensive, we can adjourn to nearby Chong Pang Nasi Lemak for cheaper fare!
