Any camera can be converted to do IR photography?

Most digital cameras can be converted. But some less expensive point and shoot cameras have the internal IR blocking filter glued or fused down over the sensor which makes it much more difficult to remove and replace.

I am in the US and here Lifepixel and www.maxmax.com will convert cameras for you. I think they will ship overseas but do not know what rate they may charge for that. Might be better if you can find somebody closer.
