DIY - A Better Bounce Card

Managed to get hold of the foam sheets (Foamtastic) recently only.
It works great!

Reading many of the previous posts, I feel that it all boils down to folding down the foam sheet and allowing just enough light forward compared to the amount of light thrown up to the ceiling. It's the same theory that a big bounce card is not always the best case indoors when there's a ceiling cos too much light is thrown forward so you still get a shadow behind the subject. I kena before. Thought big bounce card very good, but in the end still got harsh shadows behind.

I also have a lightsphere. In ballroom situations, the lightsphere wastes the flash output by throwing light behind and to the sides as well, which does not get bounced back to the subject, which means it's quite useless. In small rooms, the lightsphere is fantastic.

Just sharing my thoughts and observations on bounce devices. ;)

Cheers!
