I had tried to do this at home, but cldn't get a sharp image of the droplets. Are you guys on manual focus ?? I am using a Nikon 60mm and tried both AF and MF.

You need flash and high speed, high aperture.

I think F11 and above with shutter speed of maybe 1/500?

Manual mode, prefocus at subject ,must hit flash when shooting .

Drew a picture in your mind ,then work it out in any source of photography .

cheers

Had everything, but I guess the prefocus part is the most difficult ...... shall try harder ... thxs guys ...

do we need such a high shutter 1/500 to freeze objects ??

yes, for water, you need high shutter speed.
you can vary the shutter speed actually, play with it, experiment. keep trying, i'm sure you'll get the shot you want :D

I see a lot of nice work here!
I tried taking moving droplets, still can't take a satisfying one.
Showing a still one.
