Divine Droplets - a macro photography

Thx.^^ Dunno if u already know this, but I just go thru for those who are new. There are 2 ways to capture water droplets falling.

1. Flash frozen - Set narrow aperture and slow shutter like 1.5-3s, then manual trigger an external flash to freeze the droplet.

2. High speed sync - Use high shutter speed to capture the waterdroplet. This lipton is captured this way.

Lipton word will be inversed in the water droplet. So u need to inverse the lipton box in the background.

Just a normal sink tap setup, nothing new. Let the water drip from the tap into a bowl. U just need to practise when to press the capture or flash button

Thx. I was in the shades and the background is much brighter. Of cos, the angle to take from helps. This shot there's no flash.

Thx. Ya a 15+ yrs old close-up filter^^ It'll go well with our 50mm, 77mm, FA 35-70mm.

U can use ur award money to get a real macro lens lah. This filter just make a prime lens to abt 1:1 macro, but u loose details. It's abt US$10-20 from ebay. I just like using cause I can just use onboard flash. It's also a good alternative for those who can't or not willing to spend on macro lens^^
