[ Discuss ] Anyone using OM-D for paid assignment?

Haha ! But isn't that like saying the groom is caring and thoughtful and all that, but the numbers in his bank balance are the limiting factor in his quality as a husband ?

I really dunno. Only a girl will know that. Are you a girl or guy?

I am quite sure you are a very good wedding photographer. And you have your own style that is probably different from the iPhone photographer.

But art is subjective bro. What works for me might be total garbage to another. Which is so true in this case.

Haha, I'm not a wedding photographer at all fortunately. I was talking about the photos from my wedding. ;-)

Must have been great photos in that case. Well, let's not OT too far from the original question posted by the TS... about paid assignments using the OM-D.

I will be using OMD as my second body for paid events...
It is a very capable camera...
So many people using it for wedding as well...

45mm f1.8
20mm f1.7 or 25mm f1.4
12-35 mm f2.8
75mm f1.8
upcoming 35-100mm f2.8

I have the first 3 and use it extensively for events. For the last 2.. on my wishlist : )

I was expecting a len that is capable of covering most focal length needs. Dont think keep changing lenses is a good idea.

Think above 45mm have to stand quite a distance away when taken table group photos. Weird. Haha

hmm.. the best is a 2 lens zoom set. Less changing of lenses. 12-35 & 35-100 f2.8 ! Or flash. But in Some places flash cannot.
