If you are interested in astronomy, do drop by Singastro.org. Members hold regular sessions at Toa Payoh Interchange and Bishan Park.
If its LED Kites, it's quite a common sight at the open field beside AMK Library.
BTW, I ever saw a few people flying remote kite/plane (not sure what its call) at the Bishan park on Sunday evening. The "UFO" has long tail with LED light and together with the skill of the "UFO pilot", it quite spectacular to see them flying.
