developing film using coffee


Have done this before too.. Used Nescafe Gold with Delta 400.. but my negs ended up super dense.. but still scannable..images seems fine too though..haha..
you can see them here(Only the coffee coloured ones and the blueish coloured ones are coffee developed, the normal BW ones are Arcos 100 in DD-X) Inspired by the "xiaokang incident" pull off by the late adoseoflight.com^^

Interesting.... would using washing powder work instead of using washing soda?

You can get Arm & Hammer brand washing soda from certain Cold Storage outlets - about S$6 for a big pack that can last many rounds. I bought powder ascorbic acid (vitamin C) from a seller on ebay Singapore.

Nope.. different things.. washing soda, the kind that you want would be anhydrous sodium carbonate. The arm and hammer brand is your safest bet.. I bought mine from cold storage, but haven't seen it since.. maybe you'll have better luck:)

Should be Na2CO3, should be seeing some RF guys posting their results after i passed them some together with KBr, stay tuned.
