December Outing Discussion

My comments: please try to join the actual outing instead of chitchatting here only ;)
 

Sengkang Riverside Park - landscape, nature, macro
Chinese/Japanese - landscape, nature, macro
Haw Par Villa - statue garden and 10 Courts of Hell
 

place to go...
sitex work part time sell k-5, k-r and k-x... it is end of nov, but very near dec... counted?

by the way... thinking of going anime Festival this 2 day...
but scare ppl say me uncle...got other bro going?
 

I'm going ... in one hour :)
 

so buying ticket there right? and $15?
will try to get permition with my wife...
will ware Pentax red T-shirt?

2. Chijmes - can only shoot exterior don't think they allow photography inside.
4. Fullerton Hotel - can only shoot exterior, don't think any hotel allow a group of people to shoot inside and disturb their guests.
11. Old Chang Hospital - Restricted Area already, not encourage trespassing
18. Punggol matilda House - Restricted Area already, not encourage trespassing

Thanks Desmond. I could not join the November one mah..so itchy for December. Thanks for the clarifications. I can only guess in the end it will be the Christmas Lighting so its the natural choice. :)

let me tell you, except for a few "senior" professional photographers and the security guards, I am probably the oldest there. The kids were wondering why I am mingling with them. Anyway, saw 2 young Pentaxians and met Warren (zoom3) as well. First outing with the DA35mm but I can't seem to get it right though but maybe I was trying to take the shots without flash. :)

$8 per entry if you only want to go in an mingle and shoot. The concert and movies cost more.

Was firing my flash and was using Sv mode to limit the iso due to the lighting condition at the convention hall.

Nov 20 & 27 are out for me.
Dec Saturdays still okay, unless a few of us can check out the place on weekday as I am clearing leaves like this Thursday. Charlie, you free to join?

I have missed the past 2 outings. Will try to make it for the Dec one if it's first 2 weeks.
Last 2 weeks have to standby for the arrival of my son :D

Lol. The link stated FISH at the Woodlands Waterfront Jetty. I went there and there was already NO FISHING sign. Coz that water area is totally polluted due to the poor water filtration coz of causeway bridge. Give ppl false hope to go there fishing.sighed.

Another place: Haw Paw Villa, ever go there b4? now free admission :)
 

it a very long list, good guys. most of the outing we had
shoot, candid potrait,building lanscape,sunrise , macro....my suggest
we go to jurong birdpark. lot of things to shoot..for birding,
candid potrait,macro...i'am sure some of us wanted to try those long lens
they had,which long been kept in the cabinet...
