no.5 is

good synchro there and you've nailed the lights ts....

Thanks. Actually, as luck would have it, I could only stay for one rehearsal run. Kind of stressful as I have not seen any practices prior to that.

Add to that, I only have one 5D with a single prime lens (85mm), as I brought a 350D with a flat battery!

Quite lucky to have some salvageable shots in the end.

Love the last shot! Exposure right on, the 16:9-ish ratio is excellent as well. If the leftmost dancer was tighter in formation, this shot would be even better, but that's not your fault. :p

Thanks, yah, I was quite tempted to crop her out, but the decided to stick to the crop ratio. ;p

Nice series you have, wonder where is this place?

Thanks. This set was taken at the University Cultural Centre of NUS, dancers are from Synergy.

i like the first one ,excellent!!

enjoying the whole series man!

very nice, but i feel a bit over sharpen :)

The last one? Or most of them? Let me try see if it does look better if i skip the sharpening after resizing.

I like the composition of this shot. The casting of the lights over the dancers is beautiful, some reflections added a 3D feel to the picture as well.

i do feel the emotion of the dancers in the series.

Thank you. :)

Actually, on hindsight, I thought it might be better if I had flipped the picture horizontally and allow the light to go from left to right, then fall onto the dancers. I felt that it was more natural for people to read from left to right. Comments welcomed.
