Hi there.....

I'm a D60 user.....thot of switching to D90. coz after i tried my friend's D90, i find that D90 colours pay of so much better. May i ask, if you have any recommendation on where i can trade in my D60?

Alternatively you can also modify the colour parameters, i.e. make it more or less vivid, through the Image Optimization.
Have a look in your camera's manual.

Try out both cameras, feel which is better for you.

Go to the shops and personally try them both yourself, to see which one you prefer, which one feels better in your hands.
Image quality wise, both are quite similar.
You can also read reviews of both camera, so as you know what features each one is offering.

Hi,
I'm new to digital photography. Want to buy D90 plus lens since 3 weeks ago in Jakarta but always runs out of stock (perhaps because I can only go to shop on Saturday and Sunday only).

So, I decided to go to Sing just to buy this camera. Quite shock to know that now the camera is increase in price.
Will be in Sing tomorrow morning at 9 AM. Any one kind enough to give me guidance where the best to buy, how much the best price possible and any advise/comments regarding the things that I should buy.

Original plan :
- Nikon D90 (body only)
- Lens Nikon 16-85 VRII
- Lens Nikon 70-300 VRII
- Some filter lens (WHICH one is needed : either polarizer, ND or UV?
- Backpack for camera and notebook
- Probably Flash SB 600 or 800 or 900

Mustafa has D90 body with 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm Lens & a leather Nikon bag for $1969 off the shelves price including GST.

M S Color in AMK is selling the same thing for $1800++.

But I choose the 18-105mm kit for it's flexibility, not having to change len as often especailly when traveling. If you can offer it, it'll be better to go for the 18-200mm lens.

I also went to John yesterday and he also tried to push canon 450D to me. i tried on both canon and nikon D90. i found that D90 colour is so much vibrant than canon 450D. trust me, u won't regret getting D90 coz this hot selling stuff is going out of stock. u shud ask why? my answer is because its value for money.

John 3:16 is like dat...last time i was there overheard Sam recommending the canons and said d90 wasn't worth it, unless you get a D300...then he looked at me and say "correct or not?" (he know i nikon user)
