small your head la... They are the same camera body... or at least the same range (D_ series)... :)
[the tell-tale sign is the viewfinder hump... notice the curvature... there is no pop-up flash]

I wish there was a better angle to see this mounting setup... I'm intrigued. It looks like the smaller lens is clamped on the side by that wimberley setup...

Ya man. Both looks like the higher range of Nikon bodies.

Sorry, i meant smaller camera SETUP, with a smaller lens attached. On mobile, too lazy to type proprly. :bsmilie:

Rise and shine people! I was awake since 5:30am this morning!

Showing off the last shot for the morning! The sun was more glaring than that!

Sorry I couldn't post anything last night... was really shack from a Badminton game with my regular players (3 aunties). :bsmilie:

haha. you didn't ask OGL along? anyway from what I see in many pics, MBS is nice, but I don't really like how it always seems to be leaning to one side. I don't know if it's just me though...

dont like that lah, how to post any shot when i got no time to even shoot,

but i agree with ZCA ya next purchase has to be a UWA, a toki 12-24 with a couple of nd and gnd, :)

Tokina 11-16 FTW!! ND is coming by the way, waiting for sgcamerastore to inform me to collect. ND110

why would someone use a gimbal-head in the Esplanade area?
With telephoto lens.... hmmmm maybe plane spotting for NDP? When was the photo taken?

Okay,...time to test your Nikon knowledge... the closest is the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II, the furthest is 300mm f/2.8 VRII.... Btw, I'm not looking at any Nikon catalogue of lenses or anything from the internet...just pulling it off from the top of my head...

Both D3s (which version I'm not sure).

Judging from the angle... I think he is aiming at the YOG torch tower....

Well, he (OGL) didn't want impromptu catching leh... Me add-hoc one...pop my head out the window, wah...moon is soooo round, coupled with nice werewolf clouds (no wolf though).... and then the dark sky generally no reddish rain clouds... then made up my mind to go catch some light...

wow kriegs, your knowledge of nikon lens line-up is scary. I only know long and fast... but can't figure out which model (not that I bothered).
It could be D2 range as well, though logically-thinking, he'd likely have gone to FX since having that type of lens means budget is not really too big of an issue.

kriegs... got an assignment for you....

Kindly shoot 3 photos at 10, 11, and 12mm to show the difference in field of view, then post up side-by-side. Make them small la... We just interested in the 'wideness'.... go ahead, do your best to spread the BBB virus!

Consider it done (but must wait for some really cool UWA opportunities - can be anytime). Btw, at 10mm...there will be a bit of vignetting at the four corners of the image (due to Lee's ring UWA adapter). But I presume if I remove the clear glass protector, the vignetting will be solved)

lawrence you swallowed the whole Nikon catalogue? this just shows how much you love Nikon.

Urm... call it bathroom reading...:embrass: :bsmilie: No lah, sometimes when you don't want to spend like crazy it's best to look at the whole range and see which one will bring you the best bang for your bucks...

Akerue, it is probably because I have an eye for details... I used to be really good at spotting cars... I can instantly tell you which brand which model by maybe look just at the corner of the tail-light... I'm talking about common street cars and any sports... These days I can't be bothered... Filled my head with Nikkors I guess... :bsmilie:

Well, you put one "?" in front of your D.... so I assume you're looking to buy a one digit Nikon set... Otherwise, it ought to be "??", "???" or "?????".... :bsmilie: Just kidding lah!

assumption lead to waywardness hahhaha, actually im thinking of either getting another fx or a smaller dx body, waiting for the arrival of new bodies actually, before jumping to BBB....

Well, you'll be laughing your A** off when you get a body much newer than ours that's for sure! :bsmilie:

hahaha, well dont be too sure yet, if CFO decides to step in and halt the purchases, u guys be laughing at me than, enough tcss later mod closed this thread....:)
