Thanks bro, I think the only chance for me to know what I want would be to go for a test.

I seriously am looking forward to the next D90 outing ;)

And i'll bring the ND400 to compare.

Let's stack it all together and shoot the Merlion. Either the Merlion explode or the camera sensor fried!!!

Haha! The sensor of the camera tt we use sure end up fried! The exposure will be too long. I think maybe a day... 1s exposure u delay it by 30 stops!! sensor gone case. But don't know covered by warranty or not. If it's not..... Who wants an upgrade?!?! We can give you a valid reason!

Edit : I wonder how the colour cast will be like.

I tried one min before.. lolx.. Bt then i realised if the surrounding is dark no matter how long you put it will still be dark. Maybe the method I did was wrong.
I was trying ND4 and ND8 plus GND stack together to shoot the merlion that time. kinda of curious to see the results but end up my picture still kinda of dark =_=!!

Hmmmm....must be the dark force inside you still not mature enough... need more training... :bsmilie: Firstly, what mode did you use?

lolx.. i was using manual mode! hahha.. ISO 200. EV +1.
Bulb Mode. Timing was 60secs and 90 Secs.
Both shoot at 28mm range.

I guess so ba.. duno is it because the surrounding is dark or wad..

Er. Actually i thought it is like tt? ND darkens everything what. While GND helps to correctly expose both the top n bottom? Am I wrong? Someone pls coach me! (or us)

Bulb mode very hard to gauge one lah - you need to calculate very correctly! Or else boeh jun one! Have you tried Aperture mode? Just stack, set aperture, and shoot...

Use Aperture mode first lah!

Huh! Is it? You mean the solution to this is tt simple? Or is there a catch?
No la.. its not tt simple. I dun think aperture mode can do any better job..

Will try it next time around. Anyway, that was sth i was trying to experiment so I guess no harm sharing wad I encounter..:sticktong

Aperture mode only goes as far as 30sec exposure right?

BTW how do you use the Bulb mode without touching the cam, any settings or you use the cable release is it? Last time i had to press the shutter and hold.
