im waiting for a d90 successor to upgrade from d5000
either that or i would go for the d300s. Nonetheless, d90 is still very new and it would be considered more of a serious amature cam to me.
Yes, I had already decided on D90. First timer on DSLR...currently using Sony H50 (prosumer type). Will D90 be an overkill for a first timer on DSLR?
I juz upgraded fr Canon Ixus 600 IS.. Dont think its a overkill ba..now still trying to explore the functions :bsmilie:
I bought my D90 this Saturday, was using a cheapo camera all the while and now can see the difference in picture quality
.
I bought from Harvey Norman with 5 year warranty (250$ extra from market price).
I bought kit which comes with D90 + 18-105mm lens, i was thinking to ask them if can exchange 18-105mm with 18-200mm but i read 200mm is quite expensive, so i will stick with this first.
I had planed to get a 50mm f1.8 for my children...my friend ask me to get a SB-600 to go with it (indoor condition) as children are very dynamic subject. Should I get one or stick with the pop up flash.?
I think he qoute D100 as D90 successor...D40 D60 D80 D90---> D100.

The industry is such that there is really no point in waiting for the next model because the next next model would be in the horizon soon. The important thing is to keep shooting and understanding how to use your camera/lens effectively for different circumstances and to build up an individual style as you go along.
Equipments are perishable and replaceable, Skills and Individual Styles are not. Concentrate on substance and not form.
Old joke lah.. I got use "ed" in the word "Launched" okay. Someone ever posted whats next after D90 last year when its newly launched. Then some1 else posted the entire D100 specs.
D100 was a break through what.
Hi, I already PM you.
I suggest that you get the D90 with the kit lens 18-105 for a start. You will find a need for the other accessories as your interest go deeper into photography.BTW don't forget to get a drycab. It will prevent your lens from moulds attack.
