Successor? What D90 offers (price / performance) is currently unmatched by it's closest competitor. Successor will comes only when there is a real competitor in the same category and a severe dipped in D90 sales. So, for those who craving for a successor, pray hard that competitor comes out with 1 strong candidate to compete else you could be only dreaming about it.

can't deny that equipment is one of the things that makes photography interesting... for me at least.

I think unless there's a huge increase in IQ, we should worry more about lens. cuz they are ultimately the one component that affects the outcome.

I disagree :nono:! Take ipod for example. One can say that there was no competitor anywhere close to it everytime they upgrade (EXCEPT for ipod shuffle. creative stone was better. There will always be exceptions.)

If Nikon want's to maintain their 'dominance' in this area, leave your competition faraway in the dust. We the consumers will win nonetheless :angel:

Apple updates their Ipod because of drop in sale's revenue. Nikon will only release the successor if there their D90 sales drop too. That will be years later unless expedite by her competitor.

the stock is only gonna come in in late august?..that is so long..how come always out of stock ah? causing people to wait and for those who can't kena chopped at undesirable shops..

end of August ? which shop u ask ar...new stock(few pcs) are being replenished weekly at certain shops woh...
