i see, so the fragile... hehehe, i think just use some neoprene lens case and just cover from the front

Ring not fragile lah, but you can't rush the screwing on of the ring... I intend to remove the glass protector for the lens and just screw on the ring....a proper cover on the ring itself would make the set-up safer... Slap on the holder and filter when you reach the destination... Given the short golden light we have in Singapore, time is precious!

Will have to go check it out to see if I'm comfortable with it. Thanks for the recommendation bro. For me it would work if there is some sort of hard-protection for the lens front (like a lens cover hardness)...or else, if you knock into something protruding (mere coincidence that is) - there goes your lens...

I liked the flexibility of having the monopod. My buncha friends like going out to shoot birds tgt, so yeah. I also liked the feel and weight of it in my hands, for some reason... got some invisible force drew me to it :bsmilie:

Same story as mine then... the monopod magnetic field is too strong... :bsmilie:
