You know why or not? I've contemplated on D300s before, but the pricing detracts me from seriously considering it... The ability to use AI-S lenses... means we're open to cheaper manual focus Nikkors 35 f/1.4 and 50 f/1.2... 1.2 okay!!!!

Just look... D7000 is almost a DXXX cam now... so what else can D300s replacement do? probably inherit D700's sensor...? And D700 get a brand new sensor?
My Gawd, that will shake up the DSLR industry!!!

and lets hope if that happen the pricing stays decent..
thinks that the D700 replacement will inherit the D3s censor... albeit highter megapixel...

I don't care about Megapixels man... if D300s replacement gets FF sensor.... the dreams of FF is going to be nearer for us middle class DSLERS! :bsmilie:

One thing I noticed is D7000 still do not have custom menu and shooting profiles like D300s. It is one feature I sort of cannot live without now..
But still... D7000 is like a mini D300s now.. Same viewfinder too... New D300s owners will feel a little bitter and sour...
At least I used mine for more than 6 months already... LOL.

Bro, it is very possible. Because D300s is pro camera also... and nowadays. it seems pro require at least a FF sensor. So I think there is a very big possibility they will move a FF sensor into D300s. And D700 replacement get the D3s sensor.. and the D3s replacement get something unbelievable!

Bros... now that the news is out... just sit back and watch the prices of D300s and D90 drooooooppppppppp.......

And i read that D7000 should have AF micro adjustment??
YES IT DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just confirmed it in Dpreview... the screenshot of the setup menus confirms it... it is called AF Fine Tune. DAMN!

dear lord of nikonians, pls grant me and albert wish, that what we are talking abt come true.
if it does i will not even think of getting the 5Dmark11, pls let it come with 1080/30fps too, with a viewfinder the size of a D3, thank you lord...:angel::angel:;p
