D90 body out this week

I just collected my D90 kit yesterday evening.
Field-tested it just now.
Still got a lot to learn on how to make a "balanced exposure" shot though :embrass:
Will take it out again & practice more this weekend

I bought it for S$1680 (inclusive of GST)
Freebies include LEXAR 4GB SDHC Card plus card-reader,
AKARUI camera bag & tripod,
LOWEPRO 12" laptop bag
NIKON umbrella

I got it at the same price, but only get a 4Gb SDHC Card plus card-reader. I managed to squeeze the shop for a 67mm filter .:cry:

I almost bought the 18-200mm VR lens in Osaka, Japan without checking out the prices in Singapore. Seemed more worth to buy in Singapore.

For the D90 BO and kit, they have 3 different prices:

D90 BO - 119,800 - S$1,742.00
D90 with 18-105G VR - 169,800 : S$2,470.00
D90 with 18-55G VR - 134,800 : S$1,960.00
D90 with 18-200G VR - 207,800 : S$3,022.00

And I thought since it came from Japan, it should be cheaper here. Any bros got similar experiences?

You can go to Nikon service centre at Fuji Xerox Tower at 1st floor during office hour to test out.

Just tell the friendly chap at the counter. In fact, you get to try the full range of nikon lens there.

went down ytd to the showroom..
kinda good and bad service encountered.
perhaps I had gone down at the wrong timing as always..

the agent was good enough to ask if I'm wanna test anything and so he brought out the kit lens for me to try.
But again, he was very eager to keep e len back after 10 mins.. unable to record any.

if any of you wish to give it a try feel free, perhaps if the agent ard is a lady, you might feel much better service

bro , maybe the d90 body and the kit lens is made in japan where the singapore one is made in china or thailand!

by t way next time u drop by tokyo, go and visit akihabara, lots of electronic bargain there
