......

What do you mean by how to make a balance exposure? I thought matrix metering plus +/-ev should be fairly good enough to get the right exposure. Is it so differnt from your previous camera? What is your previous camera?
Look forward to seeing your test shots.

You can go to Nikon service centre at Fuji Xerox Tower at 1st floor during office hour to test out.

Just tell the friendly chap at the counter. In fact, you get to try the full range of nikon lens there.

tts very hard.. the prob is they only open during office hrs.. working man
actually I wish to test out the body.. haven get a hold of it yet.

Oops...sorry for the confusion. What I meant was, Balanced exposure for foreground & background.

I was taking photos at a frisbee tournament for my company. It was held indoors and the lighting was bad. I had no choice but to use a flash. Thus, the subject was well lit but the background was under-exposed.

I tried to use a slower shutter speed but got a lot of 'ghosts' images

Need to read & practice more :)

Hi, you can visit some of the shops listed here to try the D90. Personally I feel John 3:16 is very patient in this respect.

Hi all, just want to report back that I got my D90 body only for 1360 (with GST, cash only) from Lords.
Comes with Sandisk 4GB SDHC.

Quotation from AP Funan (David)- $1360 with lexar 4GB SDHC

Just ramp up the ISO. :D 1600 should be fine, you only get ugly noise along shadowy background areas with some details, else subjects that are sharp in focus have a little bit of noise while retaining a high level of detail. I realised that with the default noise reduction setting for ISO, ISO 3200 pictures tend to blur out-of-focus areas, almost a bokeh-like effect.

When you said "use a flash", do you mean using the built-in flash or an external Flash unit? If it's the latter, there may have been an option to fill as a backlight instead...

some sharings..

Thanks, Bro. I'll try to set a high ISO next time. I'm using an SB-800 for my flash.
