I had tested all my SDcards from Scandisk Ultra, Extreme and Extreme Pro and all works well with my D810. CF card i only have Scandisk Extreme Pro and it works well too. Hope this helps.

THANKS Minglink and alfie...

I want to know the installment price for this also... Any good deal?

Depend, some product higher compared to cash offer by other shops . The company has prearrange with banks for installment plan. I understand Cathay photo has this service.

To all handsome and beautiful d810 users ... please post your photos ...

Changing to D810?

Not changing to D810. Note that before I bought Nikon Df, I had used D800 for about 1.5 years.

I am just curious about this new body.
I will only get D810 only if Nikon have improved its ISO and AF performance, when shooting in low light, towards the D4s standard.

:)

Rich sia, Bro...hahah..change cam like change underwear...hahah

Folks at TK was kind enough to let me handle a D810 few days ago. I heard about the improved grip and wanted to try it out. I thought it was definitely different but better(?), I can't really tell. Probably, it be beneficial with heavier lenses.

Im in the same boat as you jeff.
With today's tech, I think d810 ISO and AF performance can do you justice. Double confirm, Im gonna get this.
But wait! ... you already have Df and d800. Why you need to buy d810?
Seriously, when you add all those amounts, you can buy yourself D4s. And you don't have to worry about ISO or AF performance ... ;)

Much agree on this. D800 for MP, Df for low light. You're pretty set.

That being said, I'm quite happy with the high ISO performance of the D810. If I downsample it to 16MP, the noise level is pretty good at ISO 12800 (Noise/etc.. i realise is subjective)

I do like native ISO64 for long exposures and large aperture day shots. Took this shot at ISO64 at CQ with the D810+35/1.8FX (You can see full rez on flickr)

Im no cannon fanboi. But why most reviewers, not only this, compare this camera with 5DM3?
Its like comparing today's tech with yesterday's ( 2yrs infect ) ... :dunno:

@ alfie - nice night photog ...
Was there any sharpening or any kindda editing done on this photo?

Because the position is the same ma.. Full frame, and one step before flagship.

You should format in your cam for CF..

I format the cf on my laptop
It does work

Call nikon help desk
Help desk run through their list of compatible cf
Check what I have is tested and is compatible

So went back to TK, change a new PC . Immediately, I put it into the cam and test it
Work prefect .....

Cf issue not cam

I would advise all to check with nikon if the cf card u r using is compatible with D810

D810 Iso64 is good love it

Thanks. Nope. Zero. Reason being support for D810 is not yet available on DXO Optics Pro (My choice of raw editing) So everything I got is SOOC jpeg.

But so far, as long as my technique is correct, photos I am getting is super sharp. The Nikon 35mm FX and Sigma 50mm ART are dream lens to pair with the D810..

Hi All,

Brand new D810 user here, moving over from my Olympus E300 after 7 years. Bought mine on 21 July from AP at Sim Lim.

Lenses bought were the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 and Tamron 150-600mm F5-6.3.

Still going through the manual, but will be doing some tethered shooting very soon at home.

I still have my FM2 from 30 years ago, so this is like a full circle journey for me.

Congratulations. Do report back your results. Will be keen to see stuff from the Bigtam (like the bigma).
