Looking at the price of the D810 at $39xx, and the new D800E at about the same range (not sure current price), which one should an upgrade of D600 choose? Or is it really a no brainer to get the D810?

No hotshoe means you can't attach a flash to the camera. Did you mean no hotshoe cover?
How is your D810 battery usage? I shot only about 190 shots and the indicator is left about one third.

Obviously ur batt got problems..or u shoot using live-view, or all with flash is it?..lol
