More shots from sunday morning (same morning i took the shots along orchard road). I went to the same places "recap" did with his D800E, though i'm not sure when he went.

Here are shots with the 24mm

I think most people will adopt a wait-and-see for the battery grip.

But has anyone ordered L-bracket for your D800?

I like these Do you always go up to strangers and say, can I take your photos? Any tips on what to say, how to ask....?

i was thinking of exactly the same thing

Taken last weekend.

Could quite easily extract details from underexposed areas, but if overdone the colours would not look natural.

this is awesome ..
might to share the ISO and aperture ?

How about some real life high ISO comparisons with the Canon 5D Mk 3? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Well i don't usually approach strangers, i know some people do but i'm quite hesitant. I only took pictures of the two men cause one of them started complaining to me about something (description in the photo), and i sat down and listened, and i before i left i decided to ask him if i could take a picture. The other man was next to him, and was willing to be snapped too. I felt weird if i took pics of one guy and left the other out. There was a third man and he didn't want his photo taken at all. I tried it again in little india but to no avail, but got a few smiles here and there. I guess its down to luck.

Slightly cropped. I think for D800, u won't notice any noise at ISO800 when the image is resized to 1000 pixel width. Of course, if u zoom to 100%, you will see even more noise than D700 but we should compare at the same resolution.

The original image is over 7000 pixels in width already, the noise has to be very bad to be visible when downsized that much.
