You mean.... 1.0 format to 1.6 format?

To bridge the gap... Nikon should make 1.2 sensor size?

I meant the price bracket.

Does anyone knows any local store selling Nikon D7000 body only at around 1200-1250? Planning to upgrade to D7000 as it is such a great DX camera (:

If you don't mind grey set, try Techno Gadget for a decent price :)

Grey set = no official warranty, but the shop provides its own warranty.

Yea I know, but need wait 4-5 days though. But gonna start work next week already so won't have much time to shoot if I order from them now. That's why planning to get one from local store if price also around 1200-1250. If not maybe just wait for D400 or something since will be quite busy once school starts

Thanks for the advice anyway (:

Ahhh I see :) you're welcome :) Then again, buyind a dslr is a long term 'investment', at least for me. once you bought it, its always there for you to play around :) alternatively, make a trip to Funan /peninsular to ask around =)

For those who may be interested, I just received the sale email from technogadgets, D7000 body only selling at $1163! :O All the best to those selling it at BnS!

Yea once I buy it gonna be using it for long since I'm still a student now, so budget aren't that much.

I saw the email too from technogadgets! Really tempted to buy it now but scared that I won't have much time to use it as school's reopening soon. Now in a dilemma whether should get the D7000 now or save up and wait for D400, both are gonna be great cameras for sure though. Any advice here for me?

just get any cam within your budget,

and don't worry about having no time to shoot. (i'm shooting during the weekends only haha) most importantly is to enjoy shooting....

JUST DO IT!!!!

That's true, surely can squeeze some time out to shoot haha. By the way, should I use a Sigma 50mm on D7000 or Nikon 50mm 1.4G? I quite like the Sigma 50mm new coating but unsure whether it would have focusing issues on D7000

Buy first hand lor. If got focusing issue can claim warranty :)

Thanks anyway for the advice guys! Have a great Friday (:

how does technogadgets work? Do we pay and then go somewhere to collect, or do they deliver?

How many of you still own D7000, nothing much going on here.

D7000 still the best and awesome IQ @ 16mp with Higher ISO and never regretted, when I'd hold it camera before.

Please keep it up.

I still have my Nikon D7000... Work wonderfully. With the Buy and Sell price plunging, I am actually thinking of holding on to it a little longer.
