No. But the camera itself already have a mic built in

Camera mike also records lens noise and it's mono.

Ya bro, just thinking loud..... If I want to switch to stills then change to speed light or else take it off and put on the mic. Bit of hassle in this hypothetical scenario.

But it's okay, just thinking (bored)

haha...ok, thinking out of the box.....but if that's the case, best is get the extension holder that protrude out high above the frame like a boom.

D7000 Flash

Learning about flash now, built in flash is quite nice. I could go -2 FV and retain skin tones for indoor photos-- like that.

I am interested in knowing how flash synchronizes with shutter speed, or it works all the time regardless of my shutter speed ?

I click baby pics indoors mostly, should I get a speed light ?

Thanks

It doesn't work at every shutter speed, read up on the flash sync speed of the D7000

i remembered there was a time we talked about flash sync n speedlight. then we went into rear curtain sync like that....u shld experiment a few to see how is the effect....for me i find rear curtain sync quite interesting..

Went to School of photography in tanjong pagar for free 2hr dslr session. It was an utter waste of time, poor suffocating room with below average materials. You can save time if you already know how to press shutter button, no need to go there.

Good day!

You don't have an avatar, otherwise I could spot you and we would be having a beer.

Disagree, we buy expensive dslr lah.

By the way, I had also attended canon's 2 hour free session for 600d and I was very much pleased with their arrangements and hospitality.

Wow sounds bad.
If it's convenient to do so here, mind elaborating on the reasons why you found the course unsatisfactory?
2 hours spent talking abt...?
Was this some kind of pre-arranged course, packaged with equipment purchase?
