I did shots in short burst for about 200 shots, and it started with 1 or 2 dots, and then it builds from there... they changed the assembly box for the shutter, if I recall correctly... Thank goodness it was just within warranty period.

I sent mine to the service centre for repair even when warranty is over. They fixed it for me, but too bad that I have thousands of landscape photos with tiny round dots at the corners. I hope this wont happen again.

Today i took my d7k out for a spin. It was awesome. The iso performance was better than I had expected.

Me too... Pictures took above f11 all can see spots...

and my D7000 is in NSC now. And they claimed that they need 14 days to fix it.. sad...

Yay! Serene Lee from NSC just called me saying that my camera is ready for collection!! They took 5 days instead of 14.

Hi there all, might you know which reputable shops are selling the D7000 body cheaper at below retail price?:) I also understand that sometimes Harvey Norman sells them below retail price plus extended warranty under them, but some say that it depends on the salesman you get... :S

Myadvice is to just wait till the factory in Thailand produces more d7ks before u buy. Cuz the cost is high now because the demand is high yet supply is low. Even if you can get below retal price it won't be much. Unless you buy second hand

Ooh.. How would we know when that happens?

Btw, check out artworkfoto. I'm not affiliated with them but just want to share in case some bros are desperately looking for D7000. They claim they have local sets available.

Good luck :)
