Can try sell it in BnS staying that it's a completely new set. You'll only lose around $20 at the most I think

Just heard JB got stock liao. $3100rm body only is a very very price!

Good price  that would make it slightly below $1300
Base on S$1-RM$2.4 exchange.

Bro there is problem when u hold ur cam vertically u notice ur grip slight a little , I had check the screw is tight, I also check the grip connector seems there's a little free play.

Ok i know how now. Well according to the widget given by the website, when I turn NR off to make things fair, D7000 has slightly better ISO than K5 up until 6400. After that all other cameras have their ISO skyrocket while K5 still goes on smoothly. But how often do you use ISO 6400? I'm more of looking at around 2000 or 3200, since that's what I use during indoor shoots

Nikon fanboy? haha. I am just sharing what i see on my personal experience. Unlike others without but belittling other brands of camera. Be it 80 or 512k the K-5 has my vote. Nevertheless, I shall rest my case.

Keep you eye in viewfinder, hold the 3rd button on the left, scroll with your index finger. Or do that all the same when looking at the top LCD panel. All changes can be seen in viewfinder or the top LCD. It's all about getting used to nikon system. Only at pro level camera then you start seeing different positioning of the ISO button. With D300, 700 and 800 ISO button on top. And D3s, with it on top and at the bottom where the grip LCD is.

Canon on the other hand, is on the right, button very small and very easy to mix up for me. For Canon is not press and hold of press once, change then press again to set. But then again, I'm not familiar with their control and that would be my problem only.

no offense. But i don't understand why Nikon wants to design it in such manner. Is not easy to press it. Be it i look into the VF or not. Other brands have their ISO button on top though which is much more accessible.

None taken. As I said, it's a matter of getting used to. Been using D60 to D90 to D300s. All are left hand to access ISO. Hence everyone advise new DSLR buyer to hand hold the camera to see if it fits you.

Btw, if you're voting for k5 then there's definitely a time you're going above 6400. Mind sharing when? I never found a need to go that high

places where flash, tripods are not permitted. museums, night safari and etc. is always good to have it there than not to have.

alot of photographers enjoy saying "I dont go above 6400" but the truth is, is not they don't go rather it is they know their camera noise ctrl sucks so they somehow convince themselves that if I have to go higher, I rather not shoot it.

If u need to freeze the moment. At low light, u can get decent exposure easily. But when motions are involve and u need to freeze it, that's where ISO comes in.

you can always assign iso to the front/rear control dial. For the lower end bodies like d5000/d3000 with only one dial then it's a problem

I shoot on manual. both dial I need to use it for shutter and aperture.

and yes, only when I switched to A mode than I can utilize the rear dial for iso.

Oh come on we all know that we don't like noise, and we know we choose not to shoot it when we can. You sound like you're telling us something we don't know >.>

K enough. Both of you. This thread is meant for meaningful discussion. No need to start a flame war over something as simple as noise control of two cameras. Just chillax

probably you should get the fanboy to stop first.

Both of you. This is a Nikon thread in a Nikon forum anyway so we shouldnt be discussing another camera and it's advantages over this here. Ok so let's just all stop this childish behavior and continue with meaningful discussions
