hmm... its one thing that both dials are reversed, but only 1... might be tough and disorientating to use. Is it a hercules BG? i thought someone posted about their grips' dials being oriented normally

That would be me. I found mine quite amusing too. How come everyone is going crazy about 3rd parties reversed but suddenly mine isn't?

Yo zhijie, how's the quality of the grip? Does it come with a pouch?

No pouch. The rubber feels exactly like the body one, except slightly more slippery. Can't tell the difference unless you focus your attention on the rubber and slide your finger against both, but hell, you should be focusing on the photo instead. Feels a little plastic that's for sure, but just as strong as the body. Shutter button a bit wobbly. Probably coz they built it too "outwards". Dials are even more flexible than the body's. Very easy to turn.

I bought yesterday as well. Pretty decent. But the front dial for aperture is reversed. ISO okay. Quality feels similar to original definitely. Unless its really important I think its good enough

Pretty awesome for a brand that hasn't gotten much reviews. I think this brand deserves more

The equotation from SLRevo indicated $243 but when I checked on Tuesday they had no stock and quoted me $249 instead. Ended up buying from John 3:16 at $255.

I know I can call to check the price. But I don like it when I ask and not buy. So... Anyone knows the rough price of the original battery grip for d7000 and does it increase the FPS?

Went back to check my $68 dollars hercules bg. the main dial at the back to turn ISO in aperture mode is normal. BUT the front secondary dial at your index finger is reversed (confirmed). So you turn left to increase instead of right.
