Better definitely, cheaper not necessary. The ones that they push to you are usualy stenzeiser, vitacon or emolux. Those are $12 to $18 a piece. A basic Hoya HMC can cost from $30 to $45 a piece. All prices depends on the filter ring size.

Agree, when u ask for a filter, I was offered a Vitacon initially. I had to specifically request for a Hoya HMC

I got exactly all of these at Alan Photo. Ask around in Funan for a package price for all these items together. Do your homework well as some shops might reduce price on the camera, but increase it on the filter or other accessories.

The price I that got mine is outdated as I purchased it in January. But this is what I bought - D7000 w/kit lens + Hoya HMC UV(0) + Digicab 30ltr. All together cost me $2110. But would be lesser by now as D7000 is cheaper.

Benro offer many models and most are ok. Also look at other options like Manfrotto, sirui, fotopro and jusino.

It won't be long before the 3rd party companies come up with one. Not as of now i believe.

But as for now i tink one EN-EL15 realli can tahan. Took over 600 shots at zoo only ate 20%. Powerr.

Using the D7K with a battery grip with 6AA batteries. Original EN-EL15 in camera as back-up. Not adequate when covering whole day events.

It's the MB-D11, and yeah the feel is indeed great with the grip on. now it feels naked if i take the grip off. awesome stuff.

For events easily depleted yeah, extra battery definitely helps.
