what is the price you are looking at? i bought original Nikon EN-EL15 at S$54/- today. that is the lowest i could get in Funan. many shops don't have it in stock though!

i owned my old sigma lens 18-250mm, i found there is some focusing prob, or my own problem?
1- AF-A doesnt seems work great enough, even though in enough light source condition, it doesnt as clear as i expect...
2- the 3D tracking one, i set it with AF-C, but my focus point wont follow the moving object, is this not supported with this lens?
3- Active D-Lighting, is this function made pic dull? or my setting...
thats all for now...

i havent get surprise with this lens+model yet, hmm....
is there any similar lens and fully supported this body? prefer sigma also, cant afford nikkor...

Today finally I got the freebie batt from V branch for the D7000 group buy, however there's a slight difference between the original batt come with the Kit and the one I got today. As shown below:
this one with "nikon" is the one come with the kit.

this one with "sony" is the one I got as freebie, which is

from Nikon Singapore according to the shop.



anyone know that these two are the same? I wonder why they put "sony" on a "nikon" batt??

it's a compatibility issue of 3rd party lenses with newer bodies. juz bring the camera + lens to sigma service center and they will fix it for u.

no. not over charged.

Actually one sales guy tried to give me the "sony" labelled batt when I was collecting my kit two months ago, but I refused. The boss at that moment also said that's not the one to give to me.

They called two months later so I was expecting a batt exactly the same as the "original". Was a bit disappointed when I saw the "sony" label and asked them. The boss was not around and one sales guy insisted that the batt was from Nikon Singapore. So I trusted him and took it, no point argue.

I got the 'Sony' battery too from H branch when I picked up my set.
Thought that with the Nikon hologram sticker, it's confirmed to be a genuine batt. Mine came with the Nikon box and a small 'manual'.

SLRR from level 4 funan? They are fine. Just becos their boss is the same as the notorious Bally Photo does not make them bad. The price you purchase is ok. Not the best I've seem but not too far off. So dun worry and enjoy your new toy

oh wow u mean there's way lower ones? i bought on apr 2011 at the same price, and thought was one of the lower ones. haha. most impt is enjoy it, esp when difference isn't gonna be that big.
