I think D7000 prices dropped recently ? BODY in amazon now only US$1199

Maybe D300S replacement coming out..... ;)

Wow prices really do seem to be dropping. Some shops i called recently seem to have dropped their price by $40 thereabouts.

Anyone have the MB-D11 grip? How is it?

I read that the grip fits a little loose on the body. True?

My grip remained tight on the body all the way although there was once the locking wheel came abit loose (i tink is my fingers pushed against it when i was holding it and walking.

Other than that, the grip is snug and nice, doesnt add too much weight, and balances when taking landscape as the battery is now in the bottom middle section of the body.

Nevertheless, from time to time, i will just give the locking wheel a nudge to ensure it remains tight all the way.

depend on what technique of holding for you

everyone different in ways of carrying the camera

new D7000 Falling in - also here lol

Upgrade from D60 which i have used for 4 Yrs now

hi all D7000 users,

I am so decided to buy D7000 and today i went out to hold it.
Huge let down to me. I feel the grip is too small and not comfortable at all. do you guys hav this problem ? btw dont hav fat fingers :-)

Canon 60d,7D grip are just right and comfortable.BTW i am switching from sony camp.

7D is big and good. 60D i tink is smaller than D7000 (not sure).

If u feel whichever body is too small, u can always buy a battery grip for the extra grip (which is what i did)

The MB-D11 gives me around 1.5 pinkie space (for me, now my pinkie dont hang 1/2 outside of body.) It gives me space to spread out my fingers instead of squeezing together w/o the grip.

One man meat, another man poison..
Switch to canon then..

For me.. d7k feels slightly light and small in my hand and I do agree that using a grip will makes thing better. I sold mine abt 2wks later.

On the other hand, d300s feels just right in terms of built and weight.

I landed with d700 in the end... Haha

Yeah the D7000 is slightly uncomfortable. I had problem shooting for hours with a 70-200 F2.8 mounted because it was too heavy for the small grip of the D7000.

I've no issue with the D7000 grip. I love the D300S also.
