sorry.it is export (malaysia) set but still come with (malaysia )1 year warranty.
For me is ok,reason i am staying at JB but work at singapore.

it is ok if u do not mind to send to Johor for any warranty issue.see below..

Thanks bro tamkm54 for the info. Nikon and the sellers elsewhere in Japan, USA and Msia are selling more competitively than Spore, for eg the body is sold 15XX sgd outside Spore. Nikon Spore and sellers in spore need to work harder.

Seems like there are a few lemon bodies out there with issues of hot pixels and AF problems. It could be just rumours, but im not ready to take that risk of saving abit of money but having to make so many trips to JB. Hope you understand

Latest I asked is $1700 at SLR-R and 1690 at parisilk holland V. I asked my dad to help me get a malaysian set at $1540 since he works there, works perfect, firmware is updated to the lastest.

Kit :

D7000 is still a relatively new product. $100+ to pay for the peace of mind and ease of servicing is reasonable for me.

If there's a service centre in JB itself, then the risk is greatly reduced. Unfortunately, there isn't. No go for me on m'sia set.

The battery grip is enough for me to puke blood also, why does the grip seem to increase price over the years? I know this one is metal and has weather sealing but isn't the price a little ridiculous?
