Doesn't that takes quite a bit of transfer time?
Aiyoh bro, if the first card does not have any damaged picture or missing picture, why would I need to bother transfering from the backup card. I kiasu only just in case my main card died.

Hi Fellow D7k Users!! i need help!!! =((((
I am using a tamron 17-50mm BIM non VC with my D7k today shooting some landscapes for the first time on this new body and i realised that initially my D7k could AF on live view, but after a while the AF died!!!! =(((( anyone facing the same issue???? i brought it down to cathay photo at marina square and the sales person told me that it is probably my lens coz he used the shop's 18-105mm nikkor and the live view AF is fine.
i seriously dont know whats the prob here coz if i use viewfinder, my tammy AF just fine and fast as per normal... its when i switch to live view that this prob occurs... any solutions anyone???? =(((((((
its been a known problem, apparently 3rd party lens, some of them have problems af-ing in liveview, but in viewfinder is totally normal. I have that problem too but i rarely take in liveview so it doesn't bother me. i haven't had the time to test it on another body tho. But some dun have this problem with the same lens. Some were saying the AF contacts/even lens firmware or smth. But the tamron service center in sg isn't much of a help given they dun do testing on the spot but rather they will send it back if i'm not wrong.
DUring liveview when u half shutter, it af towards 0.3m and moves bit by bit until it hits focusing to 0.3 am i right?
Hey glitz87!
Yes i realised that its quite a common issue after doing some extensive googling..luckily i usually only use live view for landscapes so manual focusing is fine for that... i am not sure if it AF at 0.3m but u are spot on in that it will move bit by bit by bit everytime i half shutter again and again to try and focus and the image becomes blurrer and blurrer... have you contacted the tamron agent in sg before? will they send it back to tamron for free? or lens must still have warranty???
thanks man!!
Anyone here has a D7000 with the MB-D11? I was thinking of buying the MB-D11 but im scared it wont fit inside the bag i might buy (Hadley Pro). Anyone has this set up?
yeah i believe u need warranty. mine has no more warranty so i dun bother as well, as it might work with other bodies. Suay lo i guess. It gets blur-rer because its focusing to a focal plane nearer to you..dun believe jus look at ur focus ring while u press down ur shutter. i use live view for movies, plus only MF for movie else too noisy.
Plus they will need you to send in ur lens, for few days. If urs is still under warranty just let them get a check, provided u have other lens to cover in its absence. I live west side, so having to go all the way to that place is crazy. Have tried nikon lenses and AF in liveview works fine, so yeah. So much for 3rd party, but i still love my tamron, its a gd performer for its price![]()
thanks guys for your input![]()
