i'm assuming this purchase was made in the US, and according to his time/date on his mobile, it could be singapore time, 722-922pm Thurs(14Oct)....

over there, they get a 7-14 days full refund guaranteed return policy, usually with no questions asked... even if it means, buyers regretted and decide to return the purchase...

so, buyers are less worried about getting a bad shipment and sellers do ensure their goods are up to par...

Bro Kennynah, thanks for letting us know. How we wish to have such policy in Sg.

This camera has me very tempted. My D80 has some exposure issues from time to time for me and a better high ISO would be great. I tried my brother's D3000 last week and it nails the exposure much better than my D80 does. I constantly have to adjust my EV sometimes. I usually use A priority. With the lenses I have I would only need the body. Since I do have a camera for now I can afford to wait (and save up!) for the price to drop (they seem to go down two or three months after the release- I got my D80 the day it came out- not long after that it dropped about $300 US).

:thumbsup::thumbsup: even at iso 12800
quite incredible :bigeyes:

In the worst case scenario, ISO 1600 still looks better than ISO 800 on the D300s lol.

wonder if folks here have already pointed out that D7K has AF in movie mode... i gather that 60D doesnt AF in movie mode...not bashing 60D...just pointing out a rather impt feature, if you are considering D7K and shooting video is an option for you...

by the way, nikon singapore just revamped their website...now, it's much easier to seek out the lenses...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

hmm, hopefully thanks to bestbuy's premature sale, this would instigate Nikon to pull back their release date to an earlier date. We'll just keep our fingers crossed :)

i heard HK usually releases slightly earlier than singapore .. duno how accurate this info...

I just came back from HK yesterday and last 2 days I went to this Tin Cheung Camera Shop near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, asking them about Nikon D7K. They told me D7K probably reach their shore by end of this month and no exact date was given.
