Why is Singapore price is expansive than other country because of GST or .........

Wait till you see prices in Australia or Israel.

Anyway its willing buyer and willing seller. Nobody forced to buy or sell anything. First guy gets bragging rights. Last guy agonized if there will be a D8000 replacement. I will be among the first owners tomorrow btw.

well... by right you need to pay 7% GST!
if u behave as if u went to Msia to take photo then they also can charge u. but maybe cannot bring back boxes loh...

i just bought my camera from malaysia a few weeks back, not D7000 la.... should be ok ba, i have all the boxes in my boot, but i asked my wife to hold on to my new camera while we pass the check point...the officer didnt really check my boot properly. if you drive, should be easier. if you taking public transport, then better dump all the boxes..

For the warranty, and convenience but with slightly higher price, i would say just get it in sg
