35 or 50mm very much depends on ur usage, Indoors I'll recco 35 or even 24 & 20(sigma).
Outdoor u can take 35,50,85 all ok.. Just distance only.

35mm on D7k body = 50mm in actual
50mm on D7k body = 75mm in actual
x1.5 factor.
That might be one of the reason depending what you're trying to shoot.
Hi peeps...im still thinking whether to purchase D7000 with kit or its body only and get a better lens? what lens should i get for a start if i purchase the body only? Any recommendation? Mostly is for taking portrait and outdoor...not much indoor though...![]()

oo roughtly how much is that lens? sorry im not very pro at lens...could you explain in more details why you choose that?
