not from the food but from the fact that D700 will be available soon along with the SB900 flash. :bsmilie:

at least we can thank canon for their pricing which have brought forced nikon to bring their prices down somewhat these past few years.

The review of D700 is like WOW. Nikon was able to pack so much features into 1, and this is what the consumers have been asking for.

I start drooling after looking at the pics of this webpage, seems like time to change! :bsmilie:

Paiseh, this is the correct link

ummm.....you posted a link for the Sony FF camera in Nikon?

Unlikely anymore this year.

Nowadays, some new zoom lenses can even beat primes plus the CA is better controlled due better ED glass & optical design. Not forgetting the NCC (Nano Crystal Coating) too. The aperture blade is better in bokeh too. 28mm is not here nor there. Just my POV only. No offend intended. Cheers:)

Well, they can make it wider and I wont mind. But I want a WA f/1.8 ;p

Very un-sharp on film, I dare not imagine digital esp the high mp ones and the upcoming D3x. I'm assuming a Nikon version would be better.

Well, what do you expect.. Looking at the MTF, it isn't that fantastic. The 24/1.8 is better. But on a FX body with CA correction, it may actually not be that bad.. ;p

The Nikkor 28/1.4 performs superbly with FX.
