I haven't been active in Nikon forum..it's time to be active again to show my support now.

Akan Datang!!!

the picture in my head now is a totally detachable wireless LCD screen or WIFI enabled body with iphone/ipad app that allows you to use your iphone or ipad as your camera screen. Hows that for totally awesomeness, not impossible, i would pay good money for that. Anyone rich enough to fund my idea? lets do it.

Poison.

Yes, it is unethical, poisonous... AND EVIL....

talking about EVIL, i am curious to see what nikon has up its sleeve as well

Catching that bottom @ correct timing needs some guts. I'm afraid of catching a falling knife as some says :)

small risk = small gain

big risk = big gain

MORE than that! Nikon will develop a whole new line of products - military grade Night Vision Goggles... Your camera maybe Zero % light-capable, but who can walk in the dark without resorting to torchlight and scaring away your subjects?!

A new breed of Photographers will arise... MOVE over SOF... here comes the SOPs! (Special Operations Photographers)... :bsmilie:

And what makes you think the military don't have that??

I doubt the Military will sell those to us... So we need CONSUMER grade MILITARY-GRADE stuff! :bsmilie:

Its actually the restrictions that governments placed on manufacturers that keeps these items out of the hands of consumers.

To me, the flip screen adds an additional weakest link to the body. I won't be doing video with my DSLR, even so, a lot of rigs available are designed for non-flip LCD. For touch screen, I have big finger tips, surviving on auto correct on my iPod touch, I dun think I can survive handling a touch screen camera body.

Don't worry I wasn't serious in any of the points I've made, so I think we can have a waiver to our rights in pursuing such discussions to even greater heights... :bsmilie: So, I doubt I'll take up SOP duties in the future, I have better things to do in the dark... like sleeping. :P

Now where were we? Flip screens - It's a love-hate thing I'll tell ya!...

To me a flip screen is only useful if they have a working AFC during live view, like the sony's DSLR.

You meant to say D5100 and the D5000 before it doesn't do AF-C?? That I haven't tried.... time to take out the D5000 for spin...

Are you sure AFC is not working during Live View mode in Nikon camera? D5100 can do it well, it even have face detection mode...

AF-C mode is working under Live View mode in D5100......

Used to have a D5k. AF-C certainly worked in live view. Currently have D7k. AF-C working in live view. What's your point?
