d700 and D3s replacement


Seems interesting, that there is possibility that replacement for D700 battery grip comes GPS-enabled.

Patent 2011-085674 filed by Nikon in Japan is for GPS enabled battery grip (there were some rumors several months ago that the D700 replacement may have such GPS enabled grip):

ya. I believe 50% of the shooters who have grip has consider that one of the factors is being looked as PRO.
 

a magnesium alloy grip can be also use as a weapon to hammer the robber.

The D800 is suppose to be on it's way... The same sensor technology as the D7000 but with the die cut to the FF size. Not sure good or bad idea...

Oh...When oh when.
Geez....I am kinda used to this waiting game.
Some people have saved enough $ to buy a hasselblad.
Pray that the nature have mercy and production of the parts will continue soon.

By the way, the rumored 36MP for the D800 is rather too high for the usefulness of everyday city shooting. Just my 2 cents.
