Hi George, thanks for linking my photo over here for comparison ;)

I shot mine in jpg sRGB, AWB, no flash. I think it might because the use of flash here on this case. Your flower does look nicer (more vivid and colorful) but abit too much blue just like you said. But it doesn't feel as smooth and soft as the flower should be like. Next time you try one without using flash and see if you can get the color right.

Another thing is that different brand cameras handle/process colors differently, and even different leses give different cast/tune sometimes.

And to be honest, I like yours better ;)

Cheers.

Thanks :) Noted, now that u mention it the petals does look less natural (compared to yours) probably due to the use of Flash. Thanks for the Suggestion

Thanks ALL for the reply, will try the suggestions hi-lighted.

I encountered this issue also,

1. color reproduction is ok if I am using my tamron zoom len + uv filter + closeup filter
2. color issue as the one u posted when using nikor micro + multicoated uv filter

guess that it's something to do with the coating of filter + lens ... ?
and i only notice this problem on blue color ... :dunno:

Likely with the colour profile used on the system.
