Sodes, there are two very obvious flaws with the 10D picture of the branches.
The first thing is that the 10D has a reddish colour cast over the whole picture. Whoever who took the picture did not set the white balance correctly.
The next thing is that the picture from the 10D is overexposed with blown out highlights on many of the flowers and also on the highlight of the diagonal branch. The EXIF info indicates that on both the cameras, the aperture was opened to F/8.0. The Canon was taken at 1/200s while the D70 was shot at 1/400s.
There is also chromatic aberration on some of the flowers.
The story is the same with the girls eyes. Both 10D and D70 shot at F/5.6. However the 10D is exposed for 1/400s, and the D70 exposed for 1/800s.
