I cant update at all :dunno:

The "Update" option did not appear. Anyone got any clues??

Are you using microdrive CF card?
If yes, it won't work. It's stated, and I tried and confirmed.

so ... to conclude... the will RAW workflow be affected on the Photoshop CS?

yes........ seems not the same as before..but juz minor change lor

so this'll differentiate the ver2 with ver1 when shooting outdoors.. keke.. not that it matters :bsmilie:

josho / HeWolf: thanks. What u described is what was written in the Nikon's website. I don't think I have a problem understanding english. I'm not using microdrive. Using Sandisk and Lexar CF cards. Tried many times as instructed in the website but still can't update. The "Update" option did not appear at all.

So I guess I have to go back to Nikon to get it updated.

Cheers!!

Place the files in the ROOT directory of the CF card, NOT inside D70XXX.

Anyone can help ?

Yes, apparently you only copied B****.bin and updated the B firmware, you will need to delete B****.bin from the CF card and copy A****.bin in and repeat the same steps mentioned from 4 to 10 on the website.

Now that's weird, I updated my D70 using a 32MB CF supplied together with my 5700 and it's fine. I copied A****.bin first, then B****.bin.

yah, i know it's weird ... just cant figure it out

From a IT guy point of view......
the D70 firmware is not inteligent enough to pick up both A and B. but only able to pickup *.bin and the sequence of reading is decending :)

Once you moved to the Version Menu, the options > Update < didn't appear at the bottom?

You should only put one *.bin in at any one time.
