Straight out of camera, for a properly exposed shot, the caste is not noticeable to the eye - only after an autolevels in PS will it bring it up. Not such a big deal.
However, for a heavily underexposed shot (ie shooting at a white wall), the caste seems to be worse and can be seen straight out of the camera.
yeap. unfortunately, auto levels tend to be one of the most common tools in post processing. I should think auto contrast and auto color would be broken by this color shift thing too.
it may be at iso 400 and a lower shutter, you may not break your digital workflow after all, and noise is weaker for a properly exposed scene
This is a real world test shot (pls don't critique, test shot only) at 1/8000 into the sun to overload the sensor to see if there is blooming. Fully opened up at 2.8. Don't tell me that you wanna shoot the sun at 10AM-2PM, you will be shooting the sky and nothing else, which wouldn't be a great photo anyway. :bsmilie:
