Use manual focus, that is why most pro videographer doing this

Wow piang does this happen to Canon and Sony also? Which mean I can only choose to use manual focus or record video without sound only.

out of the box i think the first thing that frustrated user is the reverse exposure meter indicator...LOL still prefer how the D7000's top lcd display for the different focus points and mode rather then the "crude" one in D600

Yes it happens to any brand. That's why people buy dedicated external mics if they are into more serious videos.

i saw ppl use External Mic mounted above on hotshoe then I got to check how much it cost for a basic mic lol. Any recommendations?

A good one for a start is the Zoom H1. It cost $140.25 from City Music or Hung Brothers in Sim Lim. Accessories pack is $25 (City Music) and the hot-shoe adapter to mount to camera is $10 from Orient Photo Sim Lim

if you want to get the best out of sound, get a H4N, XLR cable and Sennheiser ME66. Great quality but cost a lot.

Welcoming the new light heavyweight in the right corner. Just love the new kid, photographed with a D80 though. :D What an awesome camera, exceptional DR and ISO performance and really like the detail it captures.

Yes I think it happens to any DSLR brand... That's why Canon released STM (stepper motor technology) lens (18-135mm & 40mm) for faster & supposedly silent autofocus in video. Professional videographers doing manual focusing anyway, maybe we should try too....

Not just professional, all standard exercise is NOT to use autofocus.

I'm not good in manual focussing in photos... but I will surely explore this manual focusing in video (using D7000)
