I've looked thru the thread and saw many quotes from different shops. I just wanna clarify smth, those shops like TK foto, ms color etc. Their price of $995+/- does it include the lens?
And the kit lens included issit the old 18-55mm(the ones found on cam such as D40) or the new one with VR?

The quality of both lenses are the same, just that the 18-105 gives you extra reach. Depending on you shooting style, you might not even need that extra focal length.

I suggest you call rather than wait for the equote. Sometimes they don't reply.
