That guy ermm simply wun give me a direct answer, but after persistently pressed by me..
He only said will be a very slight higher Retail price as the 1st launch of D3 back then.

Isn't this a kind of indirect way of forcing people to let you know the price?

By the way, who is "alot of us"? Do speak only for yourself in the forum to get credibility. When the time for the price to be out, it will be out. No point getting so kan cheong.

I do agree with Lumiere, mis-quoting can get someone in hot soup.

I think you really need to see and read very carefully about my thread post!!! Did I mention any price even in figures? I just wrote it's somtwhere near the 1st d3 RCP price back then, again, did I type any figure in it?!!! I blive you not blind and shld be well verse in reading english rite..

Regards to those ' a lot of us' refer to they know themselves' ppl who is enthu in this cam. If u r not 1 of the 'enthu' 1, I'll be understanding. But pls do not say I am speaking for myself.
Kan cheong or not, is my choice n freedom to feel so, same for everyone including u, pls do not preach me whether I have a point or rights to feel kan cheong or not.

Actually, for all current D3 owners, what I suspect is going to happen is that after a few months of the market release of the D3s, Nikon is going to do a firmware upgrade to the current D3 that could enable it to shoot in higher ISOs. Look at what happened between the D2x and D2Xs.

So to get the full capabilities of the D3s, just send your cam in for the buffer upgrade which is amazing by itself.

According to the D3s review by Moose Peterson and i quote "With the results I was seeing above, I called Mike, my bud at Nikon and asked point blank, “Is the sensor in the D3s brand new or just tweaked?” He said, “Brand new!” I asked if that was public knowledge and he said yes to which I replied, “Great job on the soft release!”.
The D3s has a totally new and different sensor from the D3 so i wouldnt hold my breath for a firmware upgrade that will make the D3 the same.

If its not launched in Singapore yet they can't confirm the exact date of sale or RRP. Give the Nikon staffs a break.

I read that review b4 too. It's a brand new sensor as quoted.
So I think this cam is definitely worth the purchase.

It is just a camera, whether it is released this Fri or next week or today and whatever price it is. One will know when the time is up, lets cross the bridge first.

Come Friday we will know whether it will be given to the retailers or not, no need for all these exchanges.
