When you say you want higher shutter speed. Do you mean you want a faster shutter speed? or a longer shutter speed?
i need a faster shutter speed but seems like my shutter speed is always stuck at either the x-sync speed (x250 or x320) or slower shutter speed (20", bulb). and i just figure out whats going on... really a noobie mistake.. i didn't realised the x-sync is at the end of the slower range.. :embrass:

I got myself the D300s not too long ago..I moved from my beloved D60..my question pertains to autofocus
menu>custom setting menu> a. Autofocus>a3 Dynamic AF Area
What I dont understand here is when does 3D tracking apply? Only when I have chosen the ( white regtange) or does it apply when I shoot in other modes.
I tend to shoot street portraits where people are walking towards me so the focus point is changing constantly and i generally keep my AF selector to either dynamic area or single focus ( the 2nd and 3rd options on the D300s). I turned on 3d tracking and some how i saw the red dot on the screen jumping around..so I am a little lost..if some one could shed some light on this I would be greatful..

I got it from mass sales 3-4mths ago from skystang for $65. The 3 items came in a set if i recall correctly.

Nope. The FM2 eyepiece is just a flat piece of glass. All it does it to reduce dust entering the viewfinder. I got the setup just to have a proper covering over my eye, so I can see more clearly with less distractions from light outside my eye and VF.
If you want magnification, you can try the Nikon DK-21M
Or you can try a China made eyepiece magnifier (I had one on my D90, and magnification is variable via turning the eyepiece). Look under user "Dimage" under his mass sales thread.

Yup. But it still fogged up one time, but that was some major condesation, as I was sweating profusely...
