I initially was wondering what the hell was that and clicked on the link.
To be very honest, even though I rarely shoot bikini themed shots or take part in model shoots these days, I regretted very much clicking on the link.
Plain flesh parade I must say.
A photo expounds a feeling which sometimes leaves us so utterly disgusted or so refreshed that the limited human vocabulary can't describe that feeling.
I won't say that I'm a highly respected photographer whose works had stood up to critics, won big time competitions or had held exhibitions and so on. In fact, if one were to decide that a 'good critic' is one who simply posts photos (someone had asked me if I shoot portraits and when I said yes, the shallow reply I got was, "Den how come I din see u post ur photos up?"), his photos are really good (which is a pretty subjective term) or put up 'constructive criticisms' (which eventually may be seen as lame or sarcastic remarks)...
I can reassure everyone in CS that, based on the above assumptions that a critic 'ought to do this, ought to have that', then no one here is fit to criticise or even comment on any photo even the moderators and admins, going by this line of logic which seems to be the line of thought from the quote that threadstarter posted.
