Do take note that the new batches of 6 million Bag, the interior is oilve/brown colour instead of light blue. Just knew it last weekend from Crumpler Wheelock place. ;)

Recently Crumpler have new colour schemes for their bags and pouches.

Has anyone tried to fit a 70-200 f/4L IS vertically into the 5md? In theory, the dimensions say that it would fit but I want to confirm it. Will it fit with the hood? What is the length of the hood?

Can anyone advise if a 5md or 6md bag would be more suitable for me? I want my bag to be as small as possible coz I am very small and even 6md looks kinda large on me. I want the bag to fit a Canon 400D, 17-40 f/4L, 70-200 f/4L IS, a flash, (preferably 50 f/1.4 too), my stuff: wallet, ipod, handphone, keys.

Can people who have the 5md or 6md pls share what they put in it?
Thanks!

Btw, what do you do with the hoods? Those are very hard to fit into these mil dollar bags, together with lens and all. Don't anyone use hoods anymore? How do you carry them with these bags? I thought of using a carabiner to hang them off the loops at the side.

Not sure if u know this, but if u mount the hood in the reverse direction, it shd take care of it.

hmmm... normally it'll be my 20D with a 17-85 and another 85mm, if not a lens and an external flash.

when i'm feeling lazy to carry my bigger bag, i'll just squeeze in my 70-200 at the bottom and place the partition ontop of it and then place my body and/or 17-85 as well...

extra battery and CF cards, HP, iPod all can fit too

Does anyone know which Crumpler shop sells the 'Bucket' for Western Lawn?

went check 5 mil ...hmm too small for my liking...

Yah, the 5 md is good for girls but will probably look a little odd on a guy coz of its small size. It looks like a girls' bag. Guys should get the 6 or 7 mil.

What shoulder pads did u get for those that did not come with one, i.e. 1-5 mil. I have a 5 mil and would like to get a shoulder pad to reduce pressure on my poor shoulder. I know that Crumpler sells them in black but its pretty expensive for a shoulder pad.

I'm looking for one that can ONLY fit a D80 and a Vr 70-300. Can 4 mil do that?

I am keen to get a Crumpler but do not know which model to get! The bag has to accomodate - a Nikon D80, 18-200mm VR, 12-24mm Nikkor lens, 50mm F1.4 prime, SB600 flash, and possibly has room for another zoom lens (thinking of getting a 80-400mm VR). However, the Customary Barge (which has space for other things such as laptop) does not seems to have enough space for my gear! Any suggestions? THanks.

Hi...

I'm looking at either the keystone or whicky and cox...I'd rather get the smaller keystone if i can help it, but i'm considering getting the 13" Macbook when i start school in Aug... anyone knows if the macbook can fit into the keystone's laptop pouch? it's rated at 12" but i'm hoping that somehow the macbook would fit in..

Thanks!

Whickey and Cox is good..the section for camera stuff can be detached and be used as a regular backpack..

Ahh, none of the crumpler stores carry the 'Bucket'. Are there any third party options for under a hundred? If not, I'll go get a stealth reporter.

Hi,

Anyone knows whether TK Photo carries the Brazillian Dollar Home?

How much does this bag cost new? Would the crumpler shop @ wheelock sell it cheaper than TK? :dunno:
