Canonised said:this one is special to me. Around 6.00pm, reached the highest point in Macau, Penha Point (like Mt Faber), there is this beautiful church and from here you can see the 3 bridges and the tower. Beautiful scenery but the dull and moody sky made me "pray" aloud that if only i could shoot one shot with a blue sky i would be completely satisified with the whole trip..... somehow an hr later, the sky turned blue for about 10 mins or so, and I was answered with this shot (no filter aided) ... amazing prayer!

while you were "praying" at the top of the hill, you were not alone...:bsmilie:
we at the bottom of the hill at the "deployment area" were praying too.
Canonised said:yaya .. but problem la, wrong setting for the 1st show ... all overblown. but was happy with the 2nd show's results ....
was "lucky" that i was feeling sick that morning from the ferry ride and met two undergraduates when i got lost after i took a long rest behind the rest of the gang. talking about courtesy and first class service, they even volunteered to carry my tripod for the WHOLE day when they brought me to most of the places of interest in Macau, and finally to the Penha church where they insisted is the best viewpoint of that tower. In return I bought them a 6-course fantastic lunch at a nice restaurant for only Macau $105! - Mussels mourney, beef noddles, etc... wish i was so much younger then probably i will extend a couple of days ... :bsmilie:

Johan, good eye for nice angle. oh ya...thank u for being our tour guide in macau. still can't forget the sumptious meal we had at the portugese restaurant. this nice lunch is my only memory in macau because all my images (around 150) shot in macau got corrupted
And not forgetting the super breakfast in Macau... best breakfast I had for this trip. thanks Johan for the recommendation.
Shaun, feel pity for you for the corrupted photos. I think George's "half nude" photo at the hill top of Macau also gone? Or maybe your photos got corrupted because of "that" photo?:sweatsm:

when they took turn to carry my load, i was actually quite worried that they would actually ran away with my long stick and ultimate ball and so i was quite busy watching their every movement which affected my shooting! frankly, they even insisted to pay for my entrance fee to the museum (M$15!). what a luck.... what a luck!
ya, that milk breakfast was nice but was sick at that time, so didnt really enjoyed it but still thinking of that this morning! next time stick to me but dont bring that half-naked model along....![]()
