Crossing Bridges 6 is back safely in singapore. I would like to thanks the Indonesia teams for their great effort in handling the unexpected situations.

welcome back.. there is a writeup in today's ST.

glad to know that u guys are back safely..

As Singapore team leader of Crossing Bridges 6, I would like to say the following....

I would like to thank everyone in the Singapore team for acting calmly and acting in a most responsible and mature manner during the quake and the 2 days following until we all got back safely to singapore...... one cannot ask for a better group of good people to travel with.... generous with money, sharing of food/drinks, sharing of hp's to make sure everyone called their families to let them know that they were ok.... showing care and concern to those who needed help and a very very mature attitude

Some of the temmates did not have enough money to buy airtickets back home and that was not a problem when everyone chipped in generously to make sure that everyone had a ticket home.

Thank you everyone too for giving generously to the bus drivers and their assistants whose homes were damaged and and who selflessly continued to drive us through the horrendous traffic and getting us to safe places and the airport safely while their own families were in dire circumstances.

Not a single whine nor a single complaint from anyone ...... tons of personal initiative and actions instead of words.

Thank you too especially to people like Biscuit and Nokkieg for stepping up and liasing on our behalf with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Singapore)........... I know that the 2 of you had gone through Thursday and Friday with very little sleep to keep the information and communications flowing through

Thank you sincerely ...... this is one trip i will never forget ......

To our Indonesian hosts and organizers.... thank you for transforming yourselves from tour guides to be commanders during the crisis..... making the best decisions for the good of the whole group and not panicking but instead showing great leadership.... thank you Dodhi, Budhi and Kristupa

To the Indonesian people of Padang, please accept our heartfelt condolences and wishes for a full and speedy recovery. I would like to thank you for showing the caring and knowing smiles and to complete strangers who asked if we were OK.

I would like to congratulate and thank the Indonesian village family who invited us strangers to food and drinks at your wedding celebrations on Thursday evening . Your wedding photos will be in the mail shortly. Your resolve and determination that life goes on in spite of problems is something that we can all learn from.

I was looking for this thread to share some pics. Is there another thread that you all have started to share some pics on Padang?

Nice to meet all the CS members at Crossing Bridges. I met up with Tungtong and Ben in KL before they went back. Hope to see you all again soon
